  十九世紀末,數萬名中國勞工替美國修建了跨州鐵路,美國經濟因之得以快速的成長。

  我們用錄像及數位技術,以環繞視覺來佈置鏡宮外牆,重現當年華人女性身處的加州沙漠的荒涼及空曠,她孤單的身影顯示了十九世紀末華人女性的孤獨及無助。

     In the late 19th century, Chinese laborers largely constructed the Transcontinental Railroad which facilitated the rapid growth of American economy.

 

     With digital photography, this art piece decorates the exterior wall of our key vision—the Mirrored Maze.

 

     It depicts   lifeless land of the American frontier with a Chinese American woman staring at a train coming and leaving on the railroad built by her people.

 

     It portrays the helplessness and isolation of Chinese American women in the late 19th century.
